Angel Food & Support Services started business in 2007 where they successfully served a care center in Coquitlam with Food and Support Services. AFSS believes that serving residents is a great privilege and responsibility. The AFSS team has over 15 years of experience in culinary and support services. They now employ over 150 dedicated staff. The culinary staff consists of nutrition managers, dietitians, trained instructors, Red Seal chefs, trained cooks, and dietary aides. The culinary team aid in the preparation and serving of all of their delicious and nutritious meals. The housekeeping and laundry staff are focused on maintaining the highest standards.

The teams at Angel Food Services have extensive experience in catering to specialized nutritional needs such as diabetic, renal, and texture-modified diets. The culinary staff receives continuous training at all levels to enhance their skills, retain knowledge, and facilitate growth. In addition to a diverse range of international food choices, themed menus for holidays and seasonal favorites are also available. The team offers a variety of beverages throughout the day, including teas, coffee, juice, and freshly baked goodies.

I look forward to seeing the menu for the day posted each morning here at Foyer Maillard. The meals are varied and cater to many palates. It has been a great pleasure to have some of my suggestions incorporated into the menu, including Moussaka, one of my personal favourites. I have been given the opportunity to cultivate herds in the garden which have been used by the Chef in many dishes. We have planted perennials such as thyme, rosemary, sage, oregano, and mint. The basil planted each spring is used frequently as it is not only tasty but also very healthy. Healthy and tasty food is a priority here and it is certainly followed.

Dinner today was awesome. Chicken pot pie was so good taste and presentation. Salad and brown bun and margarine. Great combo! Soup – broccoli cheese – excellent also. My mom ate it so fast. She loved it!
She really enjoys your soup, she eats them really quickly! And tells me how good they are. Very nice to serve the soup first then the main course. Soup and main course are hot. Food overall is excellent! The presentation, the serving and the yummy taste.

The Board has asked me to forward to you both absolute compliments for the dinner last evening. The roast beef was extremely tender and flavourful, the mashed potatoes were amazing, Yorkshire puddings delicious, fish and sauce was lovely and even the carrots were delicious. And then the dessert apple pie was not too sweet, great texture in crust and apples, and the whipped cream garnish was not sweet, just perfect.
